Dr. Suman Roy

 Hi, This is Suman Roy. I am from Howrah, a twin city to Kolkata located on the west bank of the Hooghly river in West Bengal. Probably you know the place due to the Howrah Bridge (longest cantilever bridge in India) or due to the Howrah railway station (largest railway complex in India). Here I got my primary and secondary education and then moved to Kolkata for my graduation. I completed my B.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management in 2010. Then, I finished my M.E. in Nuclear Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2012. I worked at National Institute of Science and Technology, Odisha for six months as an Assistant Professor. After that, I completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati under the supervision of Dr. Srinivasan Krishnaswamy (EEE Dept.).  In July 2018, I joined as an Assistant Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar.
 

In my leisure time, I listen to music, go to places or organise and participate in cultural events.
